The Ready, Set, Play program provides a structured and engaging learning environment that familiarizes children with the routines and expectations of formal schooling, easing their transition and reducing any potential anxieties.
The program focuses on developing essential skills, such as early literacy, numeracy, and social interaction, giving children a head start and boosting their confidence as they enter the next phase of their education.
Ready, Set, Play encourages a smooth integration into Prep by creating a supportive network of teachers, peers, and resources, ensuring a seamless and successful transition for each child. Ready, Set, Play is free for all prospective Prep students. Sessions are offered weekly for 10 weeks on a Wednesday morning in Terms 2 and 3.
